Key Responsibilities • Conduct thorough and systematic patient assessments aligned with developmental stages. • Deliver competent nursing care tailored to surgical patient needs and anesthesia types. • Maintain precise and complete documentation of nursing processes and patient progress. • Uphold professionalism by adhering to policies and fostering clinical growth. • Engage patients and families to promote satisfaction, confidentiality, and cooperation. • Follow National Patient Safety Goals, including proper patient identification and safe handling techniques. • Participate actively in perioperative care with responsibility for patient prioritization. • Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, including pre- and postoperative assessments. • Support timely completion and evaluation of Pre Admission Testing (PAT) orders.
