A registered nurse with telemetry experience is needed for a contract position in Lindale, TX. Responsibilities • Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on a telemetry unit • Monitor patient conditions, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes promptly • Collaborate with healthcare team members to implement individual care plans • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic electronic charting system • Float as needed to units of equal acuity, supporting a diverse patient population • Manage patient load with a ratio of approximately 1 nurse to 6 patients • Adhere to policies and procedures, ensuring patient safety and compliance Qualifications / Desired Experience • Current RN license with at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience • Proven experience in telemetry nursing with proficiency in cardiac monitoring • Experience using Epic electronic health records required • Previous trauma level I unit experience preferred • Ability to float to different units with similar patient acuity • Willingness to work night shifts, 3 consecutive 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM) • Travel nursing experience is required This is a contract position offering a fast-paced environment where skilled nurses can make a meaningful impact.
