Job Description

A healthcare role is available for a Registered Nurse with Telemetry expertise, offering an opportunity to provide specialized care to patients in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and telemetry setting. This position requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership skills to ensure safe and effective patient care in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and institutional policies. Key Responsibilities • Deliver patient care utilizing the Nursing Process with adherence to hospital policies and state regulations. • Provide clinical leadership and delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience. • Supervise assigned personnel and maintain accountability for shift outcomes. • Maintain and update clinical competencies through ongoing education. • Anticipate and plan for safe delivery of care supporting critically ill patients with multi-complexities. Desired Qualifications And Experience • Two to five years of Registered Nurse experience, specifically in telemetry or LTAC settings. • Active RN license in Colorado or a multi-state compact license. • Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association. • Experience with ventilator and tracheostomy care, central line management, and preferred wound care knowledge. • Comfortable managing patient ratios of approximately 1:6.
