A Registered Nurse with expertise in telemetry care is sought for a contract position in Mason, OH. This role focuses on delivering high-quality nursing care through thorough assessment, planning, and implementation while adhering to applicable regulations and hospital protocols. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive telemetry nursing care, incorporating nursing process standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Supervise and delegate patient care tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel based on their competencies.
• Maintain clinical skills through ongoing education and apply current best practices.
• Monitor patient conditions closely, particularly those requiring ventilator, tracheostomy, and central line management.
• Contribute to wound care management as needed.
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, patients, and families to ensure optimal care delivery.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Licensed RN in Ohio or a multi-state compact RN license.
• Minimum of 2 to 5 years of telemetry nursing experience.
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Demonstrated experience with ventilators, tracheostomy care, central line management, and preferably wound care.
• Strong clinical reasoning and leadership abilities.
