The Hospital of Central Connecticut, a community teaching hospital, offers extensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, along with numerous specialties. Our expert team is committed to providing a wide array of services, caring for patients of all ages.
This position is in a 24-bed cardiac medical unit equipped with telemetry. We provide meticulous care to patients with complex cardiac and medical issues, including those needing pacer capabilities at bedside, peritoneal dialysis, and chronic ventilator support. We are proud to be certified by the Joint Commission for Heart Failure.
As a Registered Nurse, you will thrive in a collaborative environment alongside interdisciplinary teams that prioritize patient-centered care. Under the guidance of the Nurse Manager, you will employ evidence-based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, as well as the policies and procedures of the hospital and the directives of the medical staff. Utilizing your knowledge and skills, you will create comprehensive plans of care that address the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of both patients and their families.
Qualifications:
• RN with current Connecticut license required
• ASN/BSN
