Schedule/Hours • Day and night shifts available • 36 hours per week, including every other weekend • Night shift hours: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Qualifications / Desired Experience • Current RN license with 1-2 years of experience in telemetry or IMC • Proficient in ventilator use, BiPAP, CPAP, and tracheostomy care • Ability to interpret telemetry strips is essential • BLS certification required • Flexibility and strong communication skills for floating across IMC and med/surg units Responsibilities • Provide patient-centered care for respiratory, medical telemetry, surgical, sepsis, DKA, and other acute conditions • Utilize specialized equipment including ventilators, epidural and PCA pumps, and advanced wound care technologies • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, demonstrating teamwork and adaptability • Maintain professional attire aligned with hospital dress code Call / Float Requirements • No on-call requirements • Floating across units based on patient care needs and nurse competencies This contract role is ideal for nurses seeking a challenging and supportive environment to grow and apply critical care and telemetry nursing skills.
