Job Description
Provide specialized patient care as a Registered Nurse in a dynamic adaptive acuity unit within a well-established healthcare setting. This role demands proficiency in telemetry nursing and flexibility to deliver Progressive Care Unit (PCU) care when required, maintaining a 3:1 nurse-to-patient ratio during these periods. Experience with IV drips and charge nurse responsibilities is essential.

Responsibilities
• Deliver comprehensive telemetry nursing care to patients with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Adapt smoothly to PCU level care needs with a 3:1 ratio as assigned.
• Manage IV drips confidently and ensure proper medication administration.
• Fulfill charge nurse duties, coordinating team activities and patient care.
• Adhere closely to patient safety protocols and hospital policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications / Desired Experience
• Active RN license with telemetry nursing experience.
• Proven ability to function as a charge nurse in a fast-paced hospital setting.
• Strong competencies in drip management are required.
• Flexibility to provide PCU care on occasion without refusal.
• Commitment to excellent patient care and teamwork.
Contract Details
• This is a contract opportunity requiring immediate availability.
• Orientation is minimal to none, allowing prompt integration into the unit.
• Overtime is compensated at the regular rate with a holiday premium.
