An opportunity is available for a registered nurse specializing in telemetry to provide exceptional care in a supportive hospital environment. Responsibilities • Monitor and care for patients requiring telemetry services, with patient ratios around 1:5. • Perform and support medical procedures such as TURPs, gastric bypass, joint replacements, post-hysterectomy care, and gallbladder or appendectomy post-operative care. • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, patient care technicians, and unit clerks to ensure patient needs are met. • Utilize common medical equipment including lifts, wheelchairs, gait belts, and walkers/canes. • Document patient care effectively using electronic medical records (EMR). • Participate in daily leadership rounding to ensure smooth shift operations and high-quality patient experience. Qualifications / Desired Experience • Current RN license with telemetry nursing experience. • ACLS certification preferred. • Familiarity with NIH stroke scale is a plus. • Strong teamwork and communication skills; outgoing personality fits well. • Ability to perform specialized telemetry procedures and use relevant medical equipment.
