Education • Required: Registered nurse diploma. • Preferred: Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing. Certifications • Required: Current registered nurse (RN) license in state of practice. • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. • Preferred: Certification in a clinical specialty area. Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs) • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications. • Effective verbal and written communication skills. • Strong interpersonal skills. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Ability to demonstrate good judgment. Requirements • Registered Nurse - LA or Compact • 1 year of experience required • 2 years of experience preferred • Must live more than 65 miles from the job site • 1 year experience working in Telemetry units or cardiac step-down care • Experience with titrating cardiac medication drips • Experience post-cardiac catheterization and post-cardiac surgery • Knowledge of sheaths and telemetry strips Benefits Health insurance will be available upon the start of your assignment.
