Temporary Registered Nurse in New Haven, CT

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an 8 month temporary, overnight shift assignment in our Inpatient Care Facility. As a member of the core delivery team, the clinical nurse practices as the patient’s nurse and collaborates with the care team to facilitate and deliver direct patient care and the unit level. The clinical nurse diagnoses, treats patients and family responses to actual or potential health problems. The clinical nurse is accountable to the patient, family, peers and manager. The nurse provides daily clinical support and nursing care including integration of administrative work. This assignment begins in March and the schedule for this assignment is: Rotating Schedule (20 hours/week), 12:00 am-8:30 am shift time, · 16 hours (week 1) · 24 hours (week 2) Every other Weekend and Every Other Holiday Candidates must have BSN from an accredited registered nurse program, current Connecticut license, preferably a BSN; BLS; at least 2 years of med/surg/ER/critical care experience; IV experience is preferred. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem, Temporary Midnight – 8:30 am $52.00/hour, plus shift differential High level disinfectant and decontamination protocols are in effect.
