Third Party Registered Nurse in Littleton, CO

IVIRMA North America network of state-of-the-art fertility practices in the United States, is currently seeking a Third Party Registered Nurse to join our growing Littleton practice! This is a full-time position 4 days a week 7:30am-4:30pm. Job Purpose: The Nurse will function as a dynamic member of the patient care team, providing education and guidance to fertility patients throughout their journey. The Registered Nurse will serve as treatment coordinator and strive to provide every individual an optimal patient experience. Responsibilities include: • Collaborate with a specialized clinical team to manage the care of patients utilizing third party reproduction (egg donors, sperm donors, and/or gestational carriers) • Follow required IVI RMA protocols and procedures, including ensuring FDA compliance with periodic review of patient charts for the FDA eligibility determination • Contribute to physicians' effectiveness by identifying patient care issues; provide information and commentary pertinent to patient care plan; recommend possible options and courses of action as appropriate; implement physician directives • Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional and psychological support to patients; comfort patients by anticipating their anxieties and answering questions and concerns • Resolve patient problems and concerns by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies • Patient education in regard to treatment plan and medications through e-learning and other patient education available • Follow up with patients regarding laboratory values and semen analysis results • Assist physician with in-office procedures as needed • Maintain a cooperative and productive working relationship intra-departmentally as well as inter-departmentally Qualities include: • High energy, excellent interpersonal and multi-tasking skills, and demonstrated self-directed work ethic are required • Excellent listening/counseling/interpersonal, and communications skills required to manage sensitive patient situation properly • Resourceful and well organized; committed to detail and follow-up • Ability to work independently, demonstrate good judgment and remain composed under stress Academic Training: • Active RN license without limitations - required • Studies level: License • Studies area: Nursing • BSN Degree-highly preferred • Studies level: University Education (Bachelor's Degree) • Studies area: Nursing • BCLS and/or ACLS and/or IV certification - preferred • Studies level: Certification • Studies area: BCLS/ACLS Position Requirements/Experience: • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings - required • 2+ years practical experience working as a nurse - highly preferrrd • Experience working with oocyte donors, sperm donors, gestational carriers and intended parents/recipients • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office; prior EMR experience preferred • Prior experience in women's healthcare preferred Technical Skills: • Microsoft Office proficiency • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience IVI-RMA offers a comprehensive benefits package to all employees who work a minimum of 30 hours per week. • Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance Options • Retirement 401K • Plan Paid Time Off & Paid Holidays • Company Paid: Life Insurance & Long-Term Disability & AD&D • Flexible Spending Accounts • Employee Assistance Program • Tuition Reimbursement About IVIRMA Global: IVIRMA is the largest group in the world devoted exclusively to human Assisted Reproduction Technology.
