Certification Details
• Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider or equivalent
• AHA HeartCode Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers or equivalent
Job Details
• Registered Nurse responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for an identified group of patients in an inpatient environment.
• Demonstrates competency in delivery of care to a primarily adult population.
• Job description incorporates essential functions adapted from ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice, 2nd Edition (2010).
Job Requirements
• Professional knowledge of nursing theory and practice acquired through completion of education at an accredited School of Nursing to be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Clinical competence and experience in care and management of target patient populations specific to area of employment.
• Required education: Associate’s degree in nursing.
• Preferred education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
