Job Description

Seeking an experienced Cardiac Stepdown RN for a critical care float pool. The role involves delivering high-quality patient care in a stepdown unit while managing the nursing needs of patients with cardiac conditions.
Responsibilities
• Competently assess and monitor cardiac patients in a stepdown setting.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
• Participate in ongoing education and training programs.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent Cardiac Stepdown RN experience is required.
• Current Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand.
• American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Proof of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate competency after orientation.
