Job Description

The Medical Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) position involves providing care for patients in a telemetry unit, dealing predominantly with cardiac-related cases such as Acute MI, unstable angina, and CHF. The role requires strong telemetry experience, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and the administration of critical medications.
Responsibilities
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond to emergencies.
• Administer medications and manage IV sedation as required.
• Conduct patient assessments and document care in Cerner.
• Float to other units as needed within competencies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in telemetry.
• Current RN license in the state of practice or Compact RN License.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
