Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology
Location: York, ME
Start Date: November 24, 2025
Duration: 13 Weeks
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care during cardiac catheterization, TEE, and cardioversion procedures.
• Support interventional radiology procedures, including circulating, monitoring, and pre- and post-procedure care.
• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures ensuring adherence to safety and sterile protocols.
• Monitor patients for any complications or changes in condition and intervene as necessary.
• Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Participate in rotating on-call coverage and ensure timely response within 20 minutes of the facility.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the medical record.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and state vaccination requirements.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.
• Strong knowledge of TEE, cardioversion, and cardiac diagnostic procedures.
• Ability to flex between Cath Lab and IR roles as needed.
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Must live within 30 minutes of the hospital for call responsibilities.
Licenses & Certifications:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – State of Maine (or compact).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification – American Heart Association.
• Proof of influenza vaccination (as required by State of Maine).
