Job Description Our Emergency Department (ED) RNs must be ready to care for patients when they need us most. In addition to providing specialized and innovative services, we need our ED RNs to be equipped to handle an array of emergency situations for patients of all ages. Our ED nurses are trained in dealing with a variety of trauma situations requiring quick and decisive actions. Ideal prospective ED RNs must be able to quickly and accurately assess incoming patients with both physical and mental health conditions and prioritize their injuries and medical needs accordingly. Responsibilities Provide specialized care for patients in an emergency setting. Conduct thorough assessments of incoming patients. Prioritize medical needs effectively based on clinical assessments. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient care. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 18 months of nursing experience in an ED environment. ED experience within the past six months. NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license. BLS-AHA, ACLS, Telemetry, PALS, NIHSS certifications.
