HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Charleston, West Virginia.

Emergency Department RN
3x12hr nights 7p-7a, weekdays, every other weekend, float
- Start date: Orientation/Start Date held every other week on Thursday
- Ratios: 4:1
- Patient Population: Infants to Geriatrics
- Years of experience REQ: 2 Years of Experience Required; 1-Year Minimum in-specialty experience required.
- First-Time travelers accepted if they have appropriate experience
- Weekend REQ: Every other weekend required
- Certs REQ: BLS; ACLS; PALS; TNCC; CPI (CPI Available thru Qualivis and must be scheduled/obtained > 1 week before start)
- No call requirements
- Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? If needed
- Blocked schedules potential - discuss in interview
- Radius Rule (75-99mi. can be sent for facility approval)
- Pending License accepted: WV/Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license but must have active WV/Compact RN license in hand to submit
- RTO Restrictions: n/a
- Guaranteed Hours: 36
Unit Description: Level 1 Trauma 24 Beds
Neurological, orthopedic, psychiatric, renal emergencies; special focus on trauma
• High psych population, no separate psych area
• Boarding – multiple high acuity patients
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
-Minimum 2 YEARS RN EXPERIENCE, WV/COMPACT RN - PENDING LICENSE ACCEPTABLE
-Certification Requirements: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and CPI Required. Traveler can get CPI Course done with Qualivis.
-Skills Requirements: IV Start, Telemetry
SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- Candidates must have perm address greater than 100 miles from facility to submit! Facility will consider between 75 to 100 miles on a case-by-case basis.
- PERM EMPLOYEE NOTE: Perm employees CANNOT RETURN AS TRAVELERS FOR 2 YEARS AFTER LAST DATE WORKED PERM.
- COVID VACCINE NOTE: Please state vaccine status in initial submission email – candidates not vaccinated must submit an exemption approval request to facility leadership that will be reviewed for approval on a case-by-case basis. Un-vaccinated candidates cannot and will NOT be sent to manager for consideration until facility approves the exemption request (approval process can take 7-10 days)
- FLU SHOT NOTE: Please DO NOT SEND ANYONE WHO REFUSES FLU SHOT WITHOUT MEDICAL PROOF. CAMC requires all personnel take flu vaccine unless they have allergy documented by an allergist or physician of record. CAMC FLU SEASON OCTOBER 1ST – MARCH 31ST. NOT REQUIRED OUTSIDE OF THAT WINDOW.
