Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: ED - Emergency Department • Discipline: RN • Start Date: ASAP • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights • Employment Type: Travel Tell us about the unit(s): Number of Beds - 27 Number of Staff – 50 RN/25 Medics Type of staff: o Day Shift – 1 charge, 5 RN, 2-3 medics; increase by 4-5 RN at 11am; increase by 1-2 RN at 3pm o Night Shift - 1 charge, 5 RN, 2-3 medics •Patient Ratios – 4-6:1 •Type of equipment - EMR - Meditech Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. •Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments •Must have 2-3 years ER experience Preferred or nice to have: •High acuity ERs, fast paced ERs with high volume •Experience with patient ratios of 5:1 List typical procedures performed on unit(s): •RSI, Sepsis interventions, Stroke protocol with tPA administration, central line placement, care of the psych patient, transfers to other facilities (EMTALA), Best personality Fit: •Relaxed, easy going, friendly, team oriented, respectful. REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: •BLS, ACLS, PALS; Preferred: TNCC, ENPC, NRP, NIH Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
