Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - ED Job Details: • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM • Guaranteed 36 or 48 hours per week (must be specified on submission) • 13-week assignment length • Weekend hours as required by facility • No call requirements • Float requirements: None • Work in 68-bed Emergency Department with 4:1 patient ratios (ratios not guaranteed during surge conditions) • Use EPIC electronic medical record system • 1 year Emergency Department experience in Level 1 trauma center OR 2 years in Level 2 trauma facility required • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA; TNCC, NIHSS (may obtain prior to start) • Current RN license eligible for Missouri licensure • Dress code: Black scrubs required • Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments • Handle high acuity patients with trauma, stroke, STEMI, and burn cases • Physical demands include standing/walking most of shift, lifting up to 50 lbs • Block schedules cannot be accommodated • Holiday RTO limited to 1 per assignment Facility: This healthcare facility is a leading medical center known for its combination of cutting-edge healthcare technology and compassionate patient care.
