The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department while effectively handling a variety of acute care situations. This position requires proficiency in managing ventilators, IV starts, triage, telemetry, and conscious sedation. Responsibilities • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in emergency situations. • Perform triage to prioritize patient care based on the severity of conditions. • Administer IV medications and start IVs as necessary. • Monitor and care for ventilated patients. • Provide conscious sedation and maintain patient safety during procedures. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure • Minimum of 4 years of nursing experience, with at least 2 years in a charge role. • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, NIHSS; TNCC preferred. • Valid North Carolina nurse license or multistate license. • Experience with EMR systems, specifically EPIC. • Travel experience required.
