Certification Details • BLS (AHA or ARC only) • ACLS (AHA only) • PALS (AHA only) • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) as required per specialty/unit & facility Job Details • Registered Nurse position in the Emergency Room specialty. • Job located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital, part of Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady Health System. Job Requirements • Must have a nursing license verified through Nursys within 30 days of start. • Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start and updated upon expiration. • Must complete FMOLHS Resume submission. • Must pass FMOLHS Criminal Background Check within 30 days prior to start including SSN Address Trace, county and national criminal checks, education and employment verification, and driving record. • Must complete FMOLHS Drug Screen (10 panel) within 30 days prior to start. • Must complete FMOLHS Skills Checklist, Competency Exam, and Core Competencies annually with passing scores. • Must provide proof of required immunizations and health statements including COVID-19 vaccine (optional), MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza Vaccine, TB Test, Health Statement, Varicella, Tdap, and Annual TB Questionnaire. • Must complete FMOLHS Eye Exam & Color Vision test within 1 year prior to start. Schedule Information • Contract length is 13 weeks. Unit Specific Information • Unit specific FMOLHS Skills Checklist required within one year prior to start and updated annually. • Unit specific FMOLHS Competency Exam required within one year prior to start with passing score of 80% or higher. • Unit specific FMOLHS Core Competencies required annually with passing score of 80% or higher including HIPAA, Patient Bill of Rights, Safety Orientation, Blood borne Pathogens, Fire Safety, Infection Control, Elder Abuse and Neglect, Age Specific Care, Cultural Diversity, Advance Directives. Additional Details • COVID-19 vaccine proof or exemption accepted (optional). • Mask fit test (N95) must be completed within 1 year prior to start and updated annually. • Influenza vaccine required during flu season with medical or religious exemptions accepted with proper documentation. • Declinations for immunizations require written statements and approvals. • Annual TB Questionnaire required within 6 months of start with documentation if positive. • FMOLHS Badge Photo required (forward facing, well lit, neutral background). • FMOLHS Contract Annual Education Packet must be completed.
