Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER) in Walnut Creek, CA

What You’ll Bring to the Role: • Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience, including travel assignments preferred • Valid California RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA only) • Epic Electronic Medical Records experience required • Strong critical thinking skills and ability to succeed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment • Ability to manage a rotating 12-hour shift schedule including mids, and night shifts Nice to Have Skills: • Trauma Nursing Certification (TNCC) • Pediatric experience and trauma knowledge • CEN certification and additional years of clinical experience • Previous experience with Invasive Monitoring and advanced trauma equipment Preferred Education & Experience: • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) highly preferred • 3-5 years of ER nursing experience, with some trauma and pediatric care background • Travel nursing history is highly desirable Additional Requirements: • Valid California RN license • Ability to work the 12-hour rotating shifts, including every other weekend • Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude • Commitment to nursing excellence and patient-centered care Position Details: • Prior travel experience required • Rotating shifts: 1p/3p/5p/7p • Trauma experience required • Epic experience required • Must live 50 miles or greater Pay Details: Regular pay: $25.98 taxable OT 1 after 8: $38.97 taxable OT 2 after 12: $51.96 taxable $1029 for housiing (weekly pay) non taxed $602 for Meals and incidentials (weekly pay) nonn taxed $2723.31 weekly gross pay Job Types: Full-time, Travel nursing, Contract, Temporary Pay: $2,722.00 per week Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Health insurance • Referral program • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
