HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Home Health for a travel nursing job in New York, New York. Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Home Health • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 02/09/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • 40 hours per week • Shift: 8 hours, days • Employment Type: Travel RN - Adult Care (Home Health) Location: FL 6, At Home - 50 Water Street 10004 Area: Queens Shift: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Duties & Job Responsibilities: • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. • Provide direct bedside nursing care for pre- and post-operative patients. • Administer, document, and monitor prescribed medications and treatments. • Perform nursing procedures including IV insertion, catheterization, and dressing changes. • Monitor vital signs, operate specialized medical equipment, and recognize adverse reactions. • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on care coordination and discharge planning. • Educate patients and families on procedures, recovery, and ongoing care. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient medical records. • Adhere to established nursing standards, protocols, and infection control practices. Required Skills & Experience: • Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg experience in an acute or post-acute care setting (within the past year). • Current Adult Care home health experience required. • Acute care experience may include Med-Surg, Maternal & Child Care, Critical Care, or Pediatrics. • Strong physical assessment and clinical judgment skills. • Medication administration, IV therapy, wound care, and infection control. • Post-operative patient management and patient education. • Telemetry monitoring experience. Preferred Skills: • EPIC EMR experience. Education: • Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution (required). Certifications & Licensure: • Active New York State RN license with primary source verification. • AHA BLS (required). • AHA ACLS (required for Queens locations). Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
