Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.
Opportunity: RN - ICU Adult Job Details: • Provide critical care to patients with heart attacks, strokes, shock, severe trauma, respiratory distress and other severe medical issues • Assess patient conditions and develop and implement care plans • Treat wounds and provide advanced life support • Assist physicians with procedures and observe and record vital signs • Ensure proper functioning of ventilators, monitors and other medical equipment • Adjust ventilators and IABP as needed • Administer intravenous fluids and medications • Perform suctioning procedures • Collaborate with critical care team members • Respond to life-saving situations using nursing standards and protocols • Serve as patient advocate and provide education and support to patient families • Care for pre- and post-operative patients • May occasionally care for pediatric/adolescent patients • Must have 2 years recent ICU RN experience in hospital setting • May float between Lander and Riverton campuses depending on facility census • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS/ENPC (TNCC preferred but not required) through American Heart Association • Wyoming RN license or multi-state RN license required • Must complete facility-specific submission requirements and templates Facility: This healthcare system operates multiple campuses providing comprehensive medical services to the region. The facility maintains a critical care unit that handles a wide range of severe medical conditions and trauma cases. The organization emphasizes collaborative care and maintains high standards for equipment and patient safety protocols. The facility does not have a dedicated pediatrics unit, so ICU nurses may occasionally care for younger patients. Location: Lander, WY Lander offers an exceptional location in central Wyoming, known for its stunning natural beauty and outdoor recreation opportunities including hiking, fishing, and skiing in the nearby Wind River Range.
