American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehab night shift position in Illinois, requiring an active IL RN license and BLS certification. Responsibilities

Work in an inpatient rehabilitation unit with night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am Serves a high neuro patient population with many stroke cases Responsibilities similar to those found on a medical floor except no Heparin Drips Required to work every third weekend, specifically Friday and Saturday nights Schedule offers some flexibility with Sunday night coverage Assess and monitor patients’ physical, mental, and spiritual needs as part of an individualized care plan Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to deliver patient care Expected to use professional judgment to recognize and report changes in patient status Maintain clear and complete medical records Promote a healthy work environment through professional communication and conflict management Stroke certification is considered a plus Participation in continuing education is encouraged Requirements

Active Illinois RN license required Current BLS certification required Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required Experience with neurological and stroke patients preferred but not required Benefits
