Facility: Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH) Schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every other weekend (Friday & Saturday nights only) Contract: 13 weeks

Position Summary:

Southern Illinois Healthcare (SIH) is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to join our dynamic and youthful critical care team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 2 years of ICU experience and demonstrate strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and commitment to patient-centered care.

Responsibilities:

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.

Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition using sound nursing judgment.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver optimal outcomes.

Provide education and emotional support to patients and families.

Maintain accurate documentation and uphold SIH’s high standards of care.

Requirements:

Licensure: Current Illinois RN License

Certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA required)

Experience: Minimum 2 years ICU experience

Qualities: Team-oriented, adaptable, and dedicated to quality care
