Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position providing L&D, postpartum, and couplet care on night shifts. Responsibilities
• Work in a hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Night shift position with 3x12 hour shifts (19:00-07:00)
• Care for L&D, postpartum, couplet care, and med-surg hysterectomy patients
• Unit consists of 4 labor beds, 4 triage beds, and 13 obstetric beds
• Flexible contract length and schedule, to be discussed during interview
• Required to work at least one holiday during assignment
• Must be able to provide couplet care and handle postpartum and med-surg hysterectomy patients
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Bi-weekly orientation offered
• 50-mile radius rule applies for local candidates Requirements
• Active NC or compact RN license
• Minimum 1.5 years of L&D experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN for fetal monitoring
• STABLE certification preferred
• Skills required: Antepartum, L&D, Postpartum, OB, and basic med-surg
