We are seeking dedicated and qualified candidates with extensive experience in Labor and Delivery to fulfill 12-hour shifts on a 36-hour per week schedule. Job Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of current Labor and Delivery experience. • Experience in circulating roles is required. • Preferred scrub experience. • Completion of multiple travel contracts is preferred. • EPIC STORK experience is preferred. • High-risk obstetric experience is a must. • Prior experience at a larger high-volume delivery center with 200-300 deliveries per month is required. • Experience in high acuity situations is required. • Must be comfortable floating to postpartum for 1-2 shifts per week. Profile Requirements • Work history demonstrating 24 months of current Labor and Delivery experience. • Completion of a skills checklist specific to Labor and Delivery. • Active Iowa nursing license is required at the time of application. • Professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months is preferred. • Valid driver’s license is required. • AHA/ARC BLS certification is required. • AHA/ARC ACLS certification is required. • AWHONN certification for fetal monitoring is required. • Certification from the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is required. Shift Details • 12-hour shifts, with a commitment of 36 hours per week. • Weekends required every other weekend, including holiday rotations. • No on-call responsibilities, but an extra shift may be scheduled in lieu of on-call duty.
