Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: Labor and Delivery • Discipline: RN • Start Date: ASAP • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights • Employment Type: Travel Title: Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Birth Center) Location: Santa Barbara, CA 93105 Start Date: 03/09/2026 (or 03/23/2026) Duration: 13-Week Contract Schedule • Nights – 3×12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) • 6-week scheduling blocks (No block scheduling) • 7–9 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Nights) • 1 call shift every 2 weeks • Float required to Postpartum & Nursery • Orientation: 52 hours Travelers are hired into a primary unit and cross-trained to float based on census needs. Experience Requirements • Minimum 2 years Labor & Delivery experience • First-time travelers accepted • 3 years preferred • Must be willing to float • Previous charge experience preferred Required Certifications • BLS • ACLS • AWHONN Advanced • NRP Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
