Job Opportunity
Position Summary

The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians in providing quality patient care. The incumbent will plan, implement, and document nursing care based on the needs of the patients.
Key Responsibilities
• Assess patient needs and establish priorities for care through thorough evaluation.
• Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans based on initial and ongoing assessments.
• Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage the care of assigned patients.
• Document care in accordance with established standards and clinical priorities.
• Advocate for evidence-based practice and assist in the implementation of innovative care delivery methods.
• Provide patient-centered care in alignment with professional nursing practice standards.
• Complete other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Schedule
• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
• 3 shifts of 12 hours per week
• Every Other Weekend Required
• 3 out of 6 Holidays Required
• No On-Call Requirements
Experience Requirements
• Required: 3 years of experience in a related specialty
• Preferred: 5 years of experience
Unit Description

The role will involve working in a postpartum, antepartum, labor, and nursery unit (LDRP), where assignments may vary between labor and postpartum based on departmental needs.
Qualifications
• Education:
• Required: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN)
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Certifications & Licensure:
• Required: BLS-AHA, New Jersey State Professional Registered Nurse License or Multi-State Compact License, NRP
• Preferred: ACLS, Advanced AWHONN, or EFM
