American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring Level 1 trauma experience and specialized certifications. Responsibilities

Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week Care for a diverse patient population with both simple and complex health issues Level 1 trauma experience required No local candidates will be considered if residing within a 50-mile radius Provide nursing care to patients ranging from routine to complex labor & delivery cases Support physicians during examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments Monitor patient physiological data and intervene as needed Administer medications and intravenous therapies Document patient responses and communicate care plans with families Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate Adheres to trauma-level protocols and keeps accurate medical records Compliance with trauma unit dress code and hospital policies is expected Requirements

Active OK or compact RN license required Current AHA-issued BLS and ACLS certifications required Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate required Current NRP Advance Provider or NRP Instructor certification required Minimum of one year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school required; BSN or MSN preferred Some computer skills required Benefits
