Travel Medical ICU Registered Nurse - $2,462 per week in Boxford, MA

Certification Details • BLS • ACLS • Active Massachusetts RN License Job Details • Rotating MICU RN Nights & Every Other Weekend (EOW) - 36 hours per week, floating required • Unit: Level III Trauma Center, Medical/Surgical ICU with Med Surg floating • 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU caring for adult patients with diverse critical conditions including Substance Abuse/Overdose, severe Psychiatric conditions, DKA, Sepsis, GI bleed, Respiratory Failure, Cardiac Arrest, Renal Failure, and Cardiogenic Shock • Attendings and Residents present 24 hours/day • RN to Patient Ratio: 1:2 or 1:1 with high acuity; 1:4 or 1:5 when floated to other Med/Surg areas • Patient Population: Adult patients • EMR system: EPIC Job Requirements • 3+ years of general ICU experience required • 2+ years of continuous MICU experience preferred • Must be able to read telemetry strips • Active Massachusetts RN License required • BLS and ACLS certifications required • Telemetry competency required • Floating to Medical/Surgical Units required Schedule Information • Rotating shifts required for day positions (7a-7p, 11a-11p, or 7p-7a) • Night shift does not rotate • 36 hours per week Unit Specific Information • 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU (MICU) • Level III Trauma Center ICU • Floating to Medical/Surgical Units with up to 4 or 5 patients • Telemetry competency required Additional Details • Fit Test (N95) required within 365 days of start date and updated annually • MGB Medication Exam with 80% passing within 365 days required • MGB Advanced Dysrhythmia Exam with 80% passing required • MMR vaccination or proof of immunity required • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30) with no exemptions • TB test documentation required within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break • Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA required within 365 days of start date and updated if >6 month break • Criminal background checks and CORI required within specified timeframes • Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required • References and skills checklist required for submission • Education verification and various background checks required
