Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Neuro

Job Details: • Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 36 or 48 guaranteed hours per week (must be specified on submission) • 13-week assignment length • Weekend hours required as scheduled by facility/every other weekend • No call requirements • Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed • Night shift orientation occurs on day shift - must be available entire week for orientation • Current RN license (eligible for Missouri licensure or currently licensed in Missouri) required • BLS from AHA required • ACLS from AHA preferred • 1 year Med Surg experience required (inpatient only) • 1 year Neuro experience preferred • Variable patient ratios • EPIC EMR system • Black scrubs required • Flu vaccination required from November 1 - April 1 • Provide direct patient care for all age groups including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation • Care for patients post trauma, surgical interventions, and medical comorbidities • Coordinate patient care with ancillary departments • Physical demands include standing and walking most of shift, bending, stooping, lifting and turning patients with assistance
