Job Details
• Floating between departments and or local locations within 20 miles is required.
• Utilizes the nursing process to provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients during a shift.
• Ensures safe, effective, patient-centered, timely, efficient, and equitable care of patients.
• Provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting individual patient needs, actions taken, and patient responses.
• Coordinates patient care through collaboration with the patient/family and healthcare team.
• Initiates, utilizes, and documents appropriate protocols and standards of care.
• Administers medication and treatments as prescribed by physician or standard protocols and documents according to policy.
• Identifies and meets patient and family learning and discharge needs on admission and throughout the episode of care.
• Assumes responsibility for the clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel.
• Completes patient population/age-specific/procedure and protocol education and competency testing per unit standards.
Job Requirements
• Must be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to fast-paced environment.
• At least one 13-week previous travel assignment.
• Two (2) years current experience required in specialty.
• One of the following is required: Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN).
• State of New Mexico or Compact State Nursing License.
• BLS certification completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.

• EPIC experience; can train on-site.
