This position is for a registered nurse with experience in oncology, working in a unit that specializes in Oncology, Hematology, Nephrology, Endocrine, GI, Dermatology, and General Medicine. Responsibilities
Provide nursing care to patients with oncology diagnoses. Utilize specialty equipment such as IV pumps, NG tubes, chest tubes, and specialty beds. Administer required drips and medications, including Heparin, Lasix, and chemotherapy. Float to different departments as necessary. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Must have oncology experience. Must live at least 75 miles away from the facility (Travel applicants welcome; locals will be considered at local rates). Up-to-date resume with a minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing. Two recent references from MS Charge or Manager RNs. Skills checklist that matches the specialty. Active NY State RN license with a current NURSYS report for verification. Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications. EMR experience with EPIC is required. Why ARMStaffing?
