Job Description

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for our MedSurg Medical Stroke unit. Candidates should have experience in managing conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, abdominal pain, and surgical overflow cases including thyroidectomies. Familiarity with EPIC charting and stroke care, including NIHSS, would be a plus.
Responsibilities
• Provide patient-centered care and coordinate treatments.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs.
• Document patient information and care in EPIC system.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
• Active nursing license.
• BLS certification (AHA).
• Experience in MedSurg nursing, specifically with stroke patients.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
