Certification Details • BLS • ACLS • NIH Certification Job Details • Registered Nurse position in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry specialty. • Must have 2+ years of recent med/surg experience. • Float required. • Epic experience within the last year required. • Solid black scrubs required. • Must have an accredited nursing degree through ACEN or CCNE. Job Requirements • BLS certification required (AHA only, AHA RQI acceptable). • ACLS certification required (AHA only, AHA RQI acceptable). • NIHSS Stroke scale certification required (completed through Apex, Health Stream, and AHA). • Nursys license verification within 30 days of start. • License/Certificate verification within 30 days prior to start (Primary Source Verify). • Fit Test required for all patient facing positions (Make/Model within one year of start, updated annually). • Health Statement (pre-employment physical within one year of start). • Driver's License/State ID required. • Summa Competency Exam (unit specific, passing score required, completed within one year of start, updated annually). • Summa Skills Checklist (unit specific, completed within one year of start, updated annually). • Summa EKG Exam, Telemetry Exam (copies needed, within one year of start, passing score 80% or higher). • Summa Core Competencies (HIPAA, Joint Commission - NPSG, OSHA Topics within 90 days of start, updated annually). • Summa Criminal Background Check Results (FCRA compliant 7 years search, SSN Trace, Counties, Statewide, Nationwide Criminal, OFAC, FACIS Level 3, must be run 90 days prior to start). • Summa OIG Search (run within 90 days of start). • Summa EPLS (run within 90 days of start). • Summa Education Verification (third-party verification required). • Social Security Card or SSN required. • Summa Work Order Confirmation form required. Schedule Information • No block schedules allowed; candidates preferring block schedules will be rejected. • Not allowing return to office (RTO) during the first two weeks of the assignment. • Only accepting a maximum of 7 days of RTO; more than 7 days will result in automatic rejection. Additional Details • COVID-19 vaccine required prior to start (2 doses if applicable). • MMR titer or 2 adult MMR vaccines required; no declinations accepted. • Hepatitis B titer or proof of complete vaccines (3 series) required; signed declinations accepted. • Influenza vaccine required October-April; medical or religious exemptions only with agency approval. • 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) required; no declinations accepted. • Varicella titer or 2 adult vaccines required; no declinations accepted. • Tdap within 10 years recommended; no declinations accepted. • Annual TB Questionnaire must be completed, signed, and dated. • Positive PPD requires negative chest X-ray within 1 year of start and completed TB questionnaire.
