Certification Details • BLS • ACLS • NIHSS Job Details • Registered Nurse position specializing in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry care. • Job located in Des Moines, Iowa at MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center, part of Trinity Health system. • Employment type is Long Term Assignment (LTA). • Schedule is Every Other Week (EOW). Job Requirements • Must have a valid nursing license with verification dated within 30 days of start. • American Heart Association BLS certification required for all direct patient care personnel. • ACLS certification required for RNs in critical care units including CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU. • NIHSS certification is optional but required for onboarding. • TNCC certification is optional. • Must complete Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing within a year. • Must have completed Trinity Skills Checklist for clinical contractors. • Must have current Tdap vaccine or acceptable declination if no pediatric interaction. • Must complete Trinity Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training (Iowa only). • Must pass Trinity IA Sing Report (Iowa's Criminal History, Sex Offender, Dependent Adult & Child Abuse Registries check) within 30 days prior to start. • Must complete Trinity OFAC screening within 30 days of start. Unit Specific Information • Position involves Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units. • ACLS required for critical care units including CCU, ED, PACU, MICU, SICU. Additional Details • Must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccine booster or acceptable declination/exemption (not accepted in CA or IL). • Must provide proof of MMR vaccination or IgG titer. • Must provide proof of Hepatitis B vaccination series; titers not accepted. • Must provide proof of Influenza vaccine or declination/exemption (not accepted in CA or IL). • Must provide proof of 2 Step PPD or IGRA test; positive TB requires chest x-ray per state guidelines. • Must provide proof of Varicella vaccination or IgG titer. • Must provide physical/health statement within last year indicating fitness to work. • Must complete Fit Test. • Must complete Trinity Code of Conduct Form, I9, Confidentiality Agreement, Integrity and Audit Services Form, Non Employee Upload Form, Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form, Criminal Background Check, Education Verification, EPLS, GSA/OIG, Joint Commission Testing, NSO, and System Access Form as part of onboarding.
