American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Level 3+ Neonatal ICU night shift position requiring Level 1 Trauma and Epic experience. Responsibilities

Position is in a Level 3 or higher Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Cares for neonatal patient population including critical care and trauma cases Night shifts from 7:00PM to 7:30AM, 3 shifts per week Utilizes Epic EMR, prior Epic experience required Requires experience in a Trauma 1 setting Assignment duration is 12 weeks Responsible for neonatal assessments, developing care plans, and administering medication with barcode scanning Supports breastfeeding and baby-friendly care initiatives Participates in multidisciplinary rounds and team communication Adheres to a 7-day maximum for requested time off per 13-week contract No travel partners accepted Must provide 30 days advance notice for assignment cancellation Assignment duration at facility cannot exceed one calendar year without a required break Requirements

Active Illinois RN license in good standing (temporary license accepted) Minimum of 3 years of recent NICU experience at a Level 3 or higher facility BLS and NRP (AHA) certifications required Associate’s degree in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred Epic EMR and Level 1 Trauma experience required No local candidates; must live at least 50 miles from facility Benefits
