Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - NICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM • 13-week assignment duration • Patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:3 depending on acuity level • 15-bed NICU unit • Required certifications: Arizona license, NRP, Level 3 NICU experience, Infant Driven Feeding Certificate • Preferred certification: STABLE • Minimum 3 years NICU experience required • Attend high-risk and newborn deliveries • Handle NICU admissions and provide specialized neonatal care • Start IVs and draw laboratory specimens • Ventilator experience required • May float to postpartum unit during low census to care for newborns or couplets if experienced • Any color scrubs acceptable • Electronic medical record system: Cerner • Utilize nursing process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and scientific judgment in patient care • Delegate patient care priorities and provide supervision of assigned personnel Facility: This healthcare facility operates a specialized 15-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit providing critical care services for high-risk newborns and premature infants.
