Certification Details • BLS • NRP Job Details • Requesting 2 36 hour rotator NICU RN's to provide advanced care to our neonatal population. • Preferred start date 2/9 but can also consider 2/23. Job Requirements • Must have a professional nursing license valid in Massachusetts (MA Conditional Licenses not accepted). • Primary Source Verification of professional license and/or certification required within 30 days of start date and updated upon expiration. • Must submit a color photo taken in past 6 months with specific guidelines. • Fit Test for N95 respirator within 365 days of start date and updated annually; no religious exemptions. • Documentation of two measles vaccines, two mumps vaccines, and one rubella vaccine or proof of immunity via blood test. • Influenza vaccine required during flu season (Sept 15 - April 30) with no exemptions. • TB skin test screening within 3 months of start date and updated if >6 month break, or negative QuantiFERON TB Test or T-spot within 3 months and updated if >6 month break. • Physician Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date and updated if >6 month break. • Criminal background check within 45 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break. • Massachusetts CORI background check within 30 days prior to start date and updated if >6 month break. • Resume including past 7 years of work experience with city and state. • Two recent references, minimum one supervisor or above, in skillset. • Skills checklist required for submission. • Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form required for all initial assignments and extensions upon acceptance. • Education verification through background check company. • SSN Trace must be run with criminal check listing addresses/aliases for past 7 years. • National Sex Offender Check within 30 days of start and updated annually. • Exclusion checks within 30 days of start and annually including OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid exclusion lists. Schedule Information • 36 hour rotating shifts. Unit Specific Information • Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) specialty. Additional Details • MGB Badge Photo submission required for onboarding. • Fit Test must be completed on the MGB N95 Respirator Fit Test Record Form available in Document Library. • Hepatitis B vaccination strongly preferred but optional. • Tdap vaccine within 10 years preferred but optional. • Positive PPD requires negative chest x-ray documentation. • Respirator Medical Clearance Attestation required if fit test is required for skill. • MGB Candidate Submission Coversheet required for submission.
