Responsibilities • Acute care hospital setting within the Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Recovery unit • Care for laboring, postpartum, and recovering mothers and newborns • Night shift, working 12-hour shifts from 1800-0630 with every other weekend required • Uses Epic EMR system • Transition care responsibilities for newborns • High delivery volume environment • Nurses provide comprehensive care including labor, delivery, postpartum, recovery, and neonatal transition • Mentoring and support available for new graduates on night shifts • Orientation includes 12 hours at the start of the assignment • Applicants may not have been employed by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility within the last year • Floating may be required within the designated float zone if applicable • Compliance with 60-mile radius policy for UT facilities for travel eligibility Requirements • Active UT or compact RN license required at time of consideration • Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience • Certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring • Experience in high-volume birth facilities preferred • Ability to provide references from a supervisor within the last 12 months and a peer or supervisor within the last 3 years, including employment dates and rehire eligibility • Copy of driver's license required Benefits • High Pay and Bonuses • Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options • 401(k) Plan • Weekly Payroll Deposit • Free Online CEUs • Generous Housing Allowance • Travel and Licensure Reimbursements • Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy • Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID #P-656768.
