Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented
Cardiology Registered Nurse
for a full-time outpatient clinic assignment. This role involves providing direct patient support in a cardiology office setting, including rooming patients, triaging calls, processing prescription refills, and handling prior authorizations for procedures and medications. The ideal candidate is organized, patient-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Room and prepare patients for cardiology appointments.
Triage patient phone calls and communicate clinical concerns to providers.
Process prescription refills and ensure timely medication management.
Complete and submit prior authorizations for medications, tests, and procedures.
Assist providers with coordinating patient care plans.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold compliance standards.
Support smooth clinic operations and collaborate with physicians and staff.
Required Qualifications
Active RN license (compact license accepted).
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
required.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Previous cardiology or outpatient clinic experience preferred.
Strong communication, organization, and clinical assessment skills.
