Travel RN Job Details • Job Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Oncology Clinic • Location: Elkhart, IN 46514 • Setting: Outpatient oncology clinic • Schedule: Days, 5x8s (08:00–16:30) • Shift Duration: 8-hour days • Hours: 40 hours/week (guaranteed) • Contract Length: 12-week travel nursing contract • Start Date: 02/23/2026 • End Date: 05/18/2026 • Call: None • Weekends: None • Holidays: Closed on major holidays • EMR/Charting: Charting System: Cerner; EPIC experience required • Scrub Color: Royal Blue Registered Nurse (RN) Requirements – Oncology • Experience: 2 years of RN experience required (first-time travel nurses welcome) • License: Active RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start) • Certifications: ACLS required • Preferred Certifications: Chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) and/or OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) • Clinical Skills: Outpatient oncology nursing; chemotherapy administration and monitoring (oral and continuous infusion); neutropenic precautions; isolation/PPE; patient and family education; wound care; tracheostomy care; post-surgical care; safe handling of body fluids post-chemotherapy • Patient Population: Adult patients Oncology Clinic RN Responsibilities • Provide direct nursing care for adult oncology patients in an outpatient oncology clinic setting • Administer and monitor chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive infusions per protocol and provider orders • Perform focused assessments, symptom management, and triage to support safe, timely care • Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, side effects, infection prevention, and home care • Maintain strict adherence to neutropenic and isolation precautions and chemotherapy safety standards • Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team (including providers and pharmacy) to support optimal outcomes • Document accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record (Cerner) Apply now to join our healthcare team for this Travel RN – Oncology Clinic opportunity in Elkhart, IN 46514.
