Job Description & Requirements

Position- Clinical Supervisor
Location- Washington, D.C
Shift- Nights 3x12
Requirements:
• NIHSS, BLS & ACLS – Required
• BSN - Highly desired
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state/district - Required
• Clinical Supervisor & PCU Experience - Required: 2 Years
• Cerner Experience Required
• RN Experience - Required: 2 Years
• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required
• BSN - Highly desired
Provides shift to shift oversight for clinical practice, staffing, patient flow, safety, service and utilization of resources for daily operations. Maintains the environment of care
Provides care to patients in a competent, capable, caring and efficient manner. Care provided is appropriate to the age of the patients served.
Role models organizational values.
Leads/participates in dept process improvement to improve project outcomes
Facilitates employee engagement activities including professional/shared governance participation
