Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CVICU • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 03/09/2026 • Duration: 13 weeks • 36 hours per week • Shift: 12 hours, nights • Employment Type: Travel TRAVEL Registered Nurse – CVICU Facility Information • Hospital: Centennial Medical Center • Location: Nashville, Tennessee • Building: Tower • Unit: CVICU Contract Details • Position Type: Travel • Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) • Contract Length: 13 Weeks • Projected Start Date: 03/09/2026 • Required Experience: Minimum 2 years CVICU / Critical Care • Weekly Schedule: 3×12-hour shifts (36 hours/week typical) Unit Overview • Number of Beds: 16 • Patient Ratios: • 1:2 standard • 1:1 for select device patients Staffing & Support • Free-floating Charge Nurse available to assist bedside staff • Unit Secretary & Administrative Care Tech: Monday–Friday, 07:30–15:30 • Student Nurse Externs assist with tech duties on variable shifts Equipment & Technology • Philips bedside telemetry monitors • Hill-Rom beds • Alaris IV pumps • Documentation System: Meditech Scheduling Requirements • Weekends: 2 weekends per month • Holiday Requirements: • Summer: 1 holiday (Memorial Day, July 4th, or Labor Day) • Winter: 2 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day) Floating Policy • Contract staff may float as needed • Floating typically to other ICUs, but may include other inpatient units Required Certifications • BLS – Required • ACLS – Required Required Experience & Skills Must Have • Strong critical care background • Recent CVICU experience Advanced Skills (Required / Preferred) • Required: • Pulmonary Artery (PA) catheter management • Advanced hemodynamic monitoring • Preferred: • IABP (Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump) • Impella • CRRT Procedures & Patient Care • Immediate post-operative cardiac surgery care • Advanced mechanical circulatory support including: • ECMO • Centrimag • HM3 LVADs • Unit-based procedures include: • Central line insertion • Swan-Ganz catheter insertion • Intubations Dress Code • Scrubs: Black, Red, or Galaxy Blue • Outerwear: Scrub jackets or vests only Awards & Recognition • HCA Unit of Distinction Award Winner • Daisy Award Recipient Benefits :- Medical, Dental, and Vision InsuranceReferral Bonus Programs About Binding Minds Binding Minds: Healthcare Staffing firm where your talent is valued, and your career has a true partner.
