Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) assigned to the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) provides specialized, high-acuity nursing care to adult patients with complex cardiac and cardiovascular conditions. This role involves delivering safe, evidence-based critical care, monitoring hemodynamic status, administering advanced cardiac therapies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes in a fast-paced ICU environment.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent RN experience
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Required Licensure & Certifications
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License in the state where care is provided
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field
• One (1) year of current experience in a progressive care or intermediate care unit
