Job Description & Requirements • Specialty: CVOR • Discipline: RN • Start Date: 02/09/2026 • Duration: 8 weeks • 40 hours per week • Shift: 10 hours, days • Employment Type: Travel Job Title Registered Nurse - CVOR Location Glenview, IL Schedule / Job Type Full-time, 8-week assignment, weekdays only (Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM), weekends on call Key Responsibilities • Provide specialized nursing care in the CVOR (Cardiovascular Operating Room) setting • Assist with open heart, endovascular, and vascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes • Utilize Epic electronic medical record system with 2+ years of clinical experience • Participate in weekend rotations and on-call schedule, responding within 30 minutes as required • Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and certification requirements, including BLS and Illinois RN license • Complete necessary documentation and credentials prior to start date Required Qualifications • Illinois RN license • BLS certification • Proven experience in cardiovascular OR, including open heart and vascular procedures • Minimum of 2 years of ICU or surgical nursing experience • Previous travel or contract nursing experience preferred Preferred Experience / Skills • Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system • Ability to work effectively in a team environment in a fast-paced setting • Flexibility to cover scheduled shifts and on-call requirements Why Join Us Join a dedicated team at a reputable hospital, working in a dynamic cardiac surgical unit that values collaboration and excellence in patient care.
