Description: Days, 12-hr shifts, start times 7or 8AM, every other weekend rotation, We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to: Join our team of remarkable nurses in providing intermittent dialysis and support services for continuous renal replacement therapy to patients of all ages. Provide hemodialysis treatments at the bedside for patients requiring one-on-one intensive or intermediate level of care throughout University Hospital, American Family Children’s Hospital, East Madison Hospital, Veterans Hospital and Meriter Hospital. ? Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team in the treatment and management of care for patients requiring hemodialysis in the inpatient setting. Facility Requirement: Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location. Floating - Travelers are the first to float.?Depending on the current staffing needs,?the traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units and/or at different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary department no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another department in order to complete the contract. Experience: Traveler must have inpatient Hemodialysis experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital. Peritoneal dialysis (PD),?Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) preferred Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years. Epic experience required – preferred within the last 12 months Licensure and Certification: Traveler must be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of WI or hold a license issued by a jurisdiction that has adopted the nurse licensure compact - required BLS, ACLS, PALS – must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY - required Telemetry: Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start.
