Radius Rule: 50 miles (permanent address required with submission)
Unit: Emergency Department Beds: 10 + 2 Trauma Bays Fast Track: No Triage: Dedicated triage room – travelers will triage ER Holds: Intermixed Psych Room: 1 safe room (sitters available) Security: 1 guard on-site 24/7 (may be absent if illness/call-out)
Patient Volume & Ratios
Avg Patients/Day: 35
RN Ratios: 1:4
Requirements
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC Experience: 2 years preferred; well-rounded ER background Common Patients: Peds & adults; chest pain, abdominal pain, SOB, lacerations, STEMI/stroke (stabilize & ship), walk-in trauma, military patients Drips: Procedural sedation, TNK, typical ER drips
Staffing & Support
Providers: 1 MD 24/7 | 1 APP (12p–8p)
Charge RN: 24/7 (no assignment)
House Supervisor: Nights
CNA: 1 on shift; sitters on-call
RT: 24/7 (ABGs, treatments, EKG support)
Telemetry: RNs read strips | SpaceLabs monitors
Imaging: X-ray & CT; radiology transports unless critical
Lab Draws: RN primarily; phlebotomy assists as needed
Scheduling
Shifts: 12-hour shifts: 7–7 | Additional RN 12p–12:30a
Travelers: Scheduled where needed; nights grouped when possible
Weekends: 4 per 6-week period
Holidays: As needed
Call: None
Floating: None
Scrubs: Any color
